Sexual dissatisfaction and dysfunction remain widespread, impacting quality of life even among otherwise healthy individuals—calling for novel, integrative, medically grounded sexual wellness approaches. This feasibility study evaluated the Penetration Protocol—a trauma-informed psychosexual intervention integrating somatic education, cognitive reframing, and partner-based practice—to optimize sexual satisfaction, embodiment, and relational connection.
Methods: Eighty-six participants (43 couples) enrolled in an eight-week online protocol combining 33 pre-recorded educational modules with weekly live virtual integration sessions. Feasibility outcomes included engagement, clarity, practicality, and perceived benefit. Secondary outcomes assessed changes in sexual satisfaction, communication, orgasmic function, emotional intimacy, penetration duration, and frequency of sexual activity using validated instruments (e.g., NSSS, FSFI-S, DSCS, TLS-15) alongside self-constructed measures
